Wednesday Worries and Wonders

Well, there aren’t any worries, really. It just made for a great title. Mostly this is an update.
  1. If you’re in Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, December 6 come join me and the staff at Coles, Orangeville Mall, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. I’ll be there signing copies of And the Angels Sang and Shadow Song. An autographed copy of a book makes a fabulous Christmas gift.
  2. Awaiting the proof this week of Paul Lima’s book, How to Write a Non-fiction Book in 60 Days. Very excited about publishing this book, as it’s an indispensable tool for the novice to intermediate writer. Until the end of the month I’m offering a 25% discount on advance orders of the book. Release is set for January 1, 2009.

And on quite a personal note, our wee family decided this year not to exchange gifts, that the greatest gift we could give to each other would be to unite, and so we’re flying our son, Adam, home from Calgary, and fetching our daughter, Kelly, home from Toronto.

Adam lives and works in ‘Cowtown’, filling his days as Community Relations Facilitator at Momentum, a community economic development organization offering skills training, business development opportunities and financial literacy training to underprivileged people.

Kelly lives and works in Toronto as a legal assistant in the firm of Fireman, Wolfe, as well as continues her studies in political science at UofT for her BA, and completing certificates for law clerk and para-legal.

It’s going to prove to be a week of laughter, tears, and a ridiculous amount of excitement. At the rate my personal excitement level is climbing, I may be exhausted by the time everyone arrives.
