Well, the poll for the new cover of And the Angels Sang is now closed and the results tallied: 23 to 2 for the red cover, which features by daughter, Kelly Stephens’, artwork.

Must admit I’m more than pleased by these results as Kelly felt the work wasn’t good enough for a cover; moreover, this oil painting now only exists digitally after an idiot landlord threw out an entire box of artwork Kelly had packed and sitting in the hallway waiting to move, along with other boxes of goods. Years of artwork all land-filled.

Because of that, and the faith I have in her artistic vision, I’m thrilled to have her work represent my upcoming anthology, and thrilled my readers agreed with my original choice.
