Easy, Breezy, Beautiful!That’s Jack Johnson. You haven’t purchased his CD On & On, you should. Brilliant artist. His music is funky, jazzy, bluesy, very good. But his lyrics are quite the mind-opener. Not since the stunning music written by Paul Simon of his Simon and Garfunkel days have I heard such provocative music. A definite ‘must-have’ for your music library.

Meh. Lighthearted, lightly acted, predictable chick-flick.

Excellent film. Just proves that Will Smith has been accepting all the wrong scripts since Six Degrees of Separation. He and his son filled the film with honest, intense portrayal of this rags to riches Chris Gardner inspired story. Highly recommended.

Like Babel, we couldn’t figure out what the hype was. Felt very much this was a Royalist propaganda film. Are we the only ones who thought that? While Helen Mirren’s acting is always excellent, we felt there wasn’t anything particularly brilliant about this film either by way of acting, cinematography, screenplay, even score. It was interesting, yes. But Academy Award winning? Definitely not.

Stunning film. A true fairy tale. Absolutely heart-breaking. I still burst into tears and feel desolate at the memory of it. You MUST see this film.There is nothing to criticize: cinematography is stunning, cgi excellent, acting real and believable, screen-play beautifully crafted.This one will be an addition to our video library. A classic!
