5-star Review for Kingmaker’s Sword
Found this 5-star review on Amazon this morning for Ann Marston’s Kingmaker’s Sword.
This review is from: Kingmaker’s Sword (Rune Blades of Celi) (Kindle Edition)
This novel restored my taste for fantasy. I had become jaded with what seemed like so much of same-old, same-old. This book is refreshingly free of cliche! Especially in her depiction of strong women. The writing is crisp and clean. The pace vigorous, but not rushed. Cullin, Kian and Kerri are so well-defined, they are still living in my mind days after I finished the book. I feel like I know them. I half-expect to turn on the TV and have them there in a movie. The details of place are exquisite; I felt from the beginning that Marston was describing somewhere that actually exists. I can hardly wait to read the next book.
