We’re pleased to announce Jeff Minkevics has agreed to join Five Rivers’ staff as Art Director.
Jeff is a graduate of the Drawing program at the Alberta College of Art and Design, and has studied Visual Communications, as well as other courses at the University of Calgary. His work has been displayed in the Illingworth kerr Gallery, the Marion Nicoll Gallery, and the Liebenstraum Gallery.
He is currently a graphics developer for a Telecom-focused software company, where he does everything from photography and illustration to logo development and corporate identity. He was once interviewed by both National Geographic and Science Magazine over a photo hoax he created that went viral several years ago.
Jeff’s association with Five Rivers began a few years ago when he created the covers for Mik Murdoch: Boy Superhero, and Butterfly Stitching (to be released 2013). He is now creating the artwork for the forthcoming anthology edited by Michell Plested and Jeff Hite, A Method to the Madness: A Guide to the Super Evil, which is also slated for release in 2013.
In his capacity as Art Director, Jeff will oversee all artwork for Five Rivers’ publications.
We’re pleased to have him join us. Welcome aboard, Jeff.
