Debut author, Robert Fletcher, signs with Five Rivers
Robert Fletcher |
It would seem Five Rivers is in the orchard business, if we can borrow from the metaphor of fruit not falling far from the tree. We’ve published sibling authors Alicia and Nate Hendley; mother and daughter authors Lorina and Kelly Stephens (Kelly’s novel, 5000 Kilometre Journey, will release in 2013), and next year father and son authors, Michael R. Fletcher (the son, and author of the dystopian SF novel 88) and now Robert Fletcher.
Robert Fletcher lives with a feral cat in a cabin in the woods on the shores of Lake Huron north of Kincardine, Ontario. Having made a living for over 30 years as a writer in various genres (TV and corporate video scripts, executive and celebrity speeches, advertising copy) he now divides his time between writing, trading e-insults with his son, and a part-time gig delivering happy pills for a local drug store. He describes himself as reclusive and mildly misanthropic. Kaleidoscope is his first novel, which he refers to as an autofictography.
