I was at Chapters at the Woodside Centre in Markham, Ontario yesterday, signing copies of Shadow Song and Recipes of a Dumb Housewife. The staff there were terrific, especially Kevin Olphert, the Event Coordinator. Kevin not only had the table all set up, but a fabulous end-aisle display of my books, with posters and notices.

Signed copies of both books are now available at that Chapters location.

On a personal note, it was great to be surprised by a visit from my cousin, Deb Rupcic whom I haven’t seen in at least 8 years! Deb operates a remarkable online tea shop, Tastea Teas. Along with Deb my Uncle Norm Broadbent came along, with his lovely lady Liz. After the book signing it was so great to sit in Starbucks and chatter until the store closed!
