Tea with your Read

Okay, so you’re going to wonder what tea has to do with my blog. Well, some of you enjoy a good cuppa when you curl up with a book, hopefully one of my books. So why not curl up with a really good cuppa? My cousin, Deb Rupcic, has a fabulous array of teas and tea paraphernalia available through her website. She also has a series of Christmas shows where you can meet her delightful…

Bashing Down the Walls

Figuratively speaking, that is, I’m bashing down the walls. If anyone ever thinks the life of a writer is one of ease, of single malt and rambling walks and cheques that arrive in the mail, they’re delusional. I’ve just spent the morning bashing on Chapters’ doors. Why? It’s one thing for them to carry my books in their online catalogue. Book Launch for And the Angels Sang

More good news today: Chapters has now listed And the Angels Sang in their online catalogue, so if you’re unable to attend the launch, you can order the anthology online and take advantage of…

Shadow Song Re-issued

Shadow Song has now been reissued with a fabulous new cover and interior design, under my own imprint, Five Rivers Chapmanry. Hope to have Shadow Song at the launch of my new anthology of short, speculative fiction, And the Angels Sang, at Coles, Orangeville,…

Tuesday’s Musings

Yesterday’s mail brought me yet another royalty cheque from the Marion Zimmer Bradley Trust for the short story, Smile of the Goddess, which appeared in MZB’s Sword and Sorceress X, and which also appears in my anthology, And the Angels Sang. This cheque was for my pro-rata share of Italian sales. Yep, definitely the life of a writer is financially rewarding. This cheque is for $1.09US, which will garner me $1.14CDN today. Hot damn. On…
