Five Rivers has several books eligible for popular vote literary awards. If you’re of a mind, your vote could go a long way toward acknowledging the excellence of some of the works we’ve published in 2016, and the continuing work of the authors and artists responsible for them.
The Prix Aurora is one of Canada’s preeminent awards for SF&F. To vote, you must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, and purchase an annual membership to CSFFA for $10.00. The online form is here. This year the following from Five Rivers are eligible:
Eocene Station, by Dave Duncan, October 1, 2016
The Mermaid’s Tale, by D.G. Valdron, August 1, 2016
The Tattooed Queen, by Susan MacGregor, December 1, 2016
The Great Sky, by D.G. Laderoute
James Beveridge, cover art for Eocene Station.
Jeffrey Minkevics, cover art for The Mermaid’s Tale
Patrick Hunter, cover art for The Great Sky
And among our crew there are two writers who are eligible in the Best Short Fiction category
